Change is the Only Constant

Does anyone remember 2 months ago, when we accepted our referral and I said that it would be 2-4 months before we could go get B. Well, add those together and you're closer to what we are now looking at. Yup, you heard it, 6 months... Grrrrr.... That much longer for me to obsess....

And I AM obsessing. I need to get over it and just let it happen. Now, keep in mind, six months is not an absolute, just a possibility. Our agency does not expect to have anyone traveling before the end of November. Apparently, due to the low number of judges, and the increased number of adoptions from Ethiopia, world wide, plus the back log from their little rainy season vacation, things are REALLY backed up.

So keep your fingers crossed, pray, or whatever you have to do, that this will all be done sooner rather than later. This puts all sorts of things on hold for me. Which I'm sure only adds to my antsy feeling.

It will work out. Miracles still happen and I think he is closer to getting home is expected! Things just have a way of working out. I have to believe that, otherwise I would be really depressed about a lot of things!

Hey girlie. SO sorry to hear that it could take so much longer than you had hoped. We will all think positive thoughts though & hopefully it will be November after all. Hang in there.
